Description

The Fullerton Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast is an annual event hosted by the Fullerton Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast Committee. This year’s breakfast features special guest speaker, Fram Virjee, President, CSUF. As president of the most populated university in the largest system of higher education in the country, Fram provides leadership for over 4,000 educators who collectively serve more than 40,000 students. It was these students who compelled Fram to bypass retirement and join the Titan family in January of 2018. Since that time, he and his wife, Julie, have deeply immersed themselves in all facets of the Titan community, living and leading the engaged university experience the institution aims to provide for all of its faculty, staff, and students. Under his leadership, a re-energized focus on equity, inclusion, and providing a transformational university experience for all Titans has boosted Titan Pride throughout the state and increased graduation rates to all-time, historic highs. Previously, Fram served as the executive vice chancellor, general counsel, and secretary to the board of trustees for the Chancellor’s Office and all 23 campuses of the CSU system. Prior to joining the CSU in January 2014, Fram was a partner in private practice for almost 30 years at O’Melveny & Myers, the oldest law firm in Los Angeles and one of the largest in the nation. Fram and Julie are co-founders of Yambi Rwanda, a non-profit 501(c)3 dedicated to improving the lives of Rwandans through the sustained provision of basic human needs and equitable access to quality education through the celebration of Rwanda’s culture and arts. In addition to Fullerton Mayor Fred Jung, attendees include the Fullerton City Council, service personnel, and ading citizens of our community. It is modeled after the National Prayer Breakfast held in Washington, D.C. Each Sponsor Category includes your company/organization name and
